Everything was delicious and service was great. Would guess that anything on the menu is good. Only one complaint from my friend--too many stems in her greens! But, everything was so yummy that we'll let it slide.
Very unique little diner in southern new Louisville. I had the crispy fish sandwich which was excellent. I was with the group that been coming there pretty consistently for interview season and the chef came out at offered to make us whatever we want the next time we went. The next week the chef had prepared Chicken and Waffles at the request of my group.
Fantastic food and friendly service. I sampled a number of dishes and desserts; each was lovely. The local beer selections were great as well. Pay no attention to Mark's review below. Anyone who "always orders a burger and fries" during their first visit to a restaurant clearly isn't cultured. Moreover, they probably have no business critiquing any establishment aside from the local McDonalds.
We had Sunday brunch late in the Shift. The service was a bit slow to start but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We had the biscuit basket to start and the strawberry rhubarb jam was amazing. My son had the fruit bowl and cinnamon toast and he ate every bite of it. My wife ordered the French toast. It was fantastic with an amazing creamy texture. I ordered the biscuit sandwich. It was a mountain of a sandwich. They actually brought us two because they were experimenting with the presentation. We told them which one we liked the look of better and they gave us the other one free to take home. The price was also very reasonable, about 30 for the three of us. We will definitely be returning soon to try the dinner options.
Delicious food with a fantastic attention to detail put into the presentation of the food. The atmosphere is cute, modern, southern style and they have an adorable outdoor patio.. we will be back when weather warms up. The restaurant is very neat and clean and the workers are very nice and hospitable -- fitting for a southern restaurant!
Great. Quick prompt service. Three people we encountered were extremely friendly food was fresh and hot fries! You can never go wrong with hot fries waitress was attentive to details and offered to refill our lemonades even before the glasses were in I would definitely visit again when I'm back in the Louisville area. What a great fine near the Hotel by the airport!
Very good food - I've got twice! Try the Chicken Sandwich - great level of spice and topped with a delicious vinegar slaw. Price is a bit high for the type of food (IMO). I imagine the premium is for ambiance, which is top notch, but still... Bartenders and staff are fantastic - all are knowledgeable and quite friendly!
My first time here, party of 4. Food: So far so good! Mac and cheese was on point and so delicious! I got the detox salad and it was good. My friends liked their salad and sandwiches. Price: Very reasonable for the food. Service: Our server was good overall. Food came out without too much of a wait. Servers help each other which is nice. They did forget our fries once and forgot dressing on the side. No big deal. Ambiance: Really cool outdoor patio and interior. Outdoor seating is great for groups on nice days. Overall not bad, I would come back to try the other stuff.
